THE PAPER CUP

There has been a lot of talk lately about that little paper cup- so ubiquitous in our fast-paced, on-the-go, must-have-latte culture.  What’s the big deal though? It’s a tiny bit of paper that’s going to be recycled or composted anyway, right?  Wrong.  There happens to be a plastic lining inside that paper cup. It’s there in order to keep your liquid gold from seeping all over your pants- but it’s also preventing the cup from being recycled and is a super expensive process for cities to pursue.
